JAHANGIR GATEWAY

This isolated arched gateway facing north-northwest is located opposite to the Tehsil office. Two circular medallions are carved on either side of the arch. A stone slab of the lintel bears an inscription. The gateway is built of stone rubble in lime mortar with a veneer of red sandstone slabs on the façade. The construction of building is assignable to the Mughal period.
